Event Description

NEPSIS - The Youth Orthodox Association of Ireland is organising a festival dedicated to Romanian traditions on September 14-15, 2019, in Dublin.

eiro, as a partner, will participate and support this festival by being involved in organising the exhibition of Romanian traditions.

 "The overall objective of this project is to revive and promote the interest for the Romanian traditions by forming a team of young people with initiative, who know their roots and can create projects and initiate intercultural dialogue within the Romanian community in Ireland".

"Through the chosen theme: Youth, Adolescence, Marriage we want to provide young people with a clarity of vision regarding maturity by helping them to discover skills and tools that can help them in their future", pr.Cristian Nistor, the Nepsis Ireland representative, told the news agency Basilica.

The festival will be held at the Saint John the Baptist Cultural Center, Long Mile Road, in the capital of Ireland between 14th and 15th of September 2019.

  • Dedication of the Ascension of the Holy Cross Parish Dublin (September 14th)
  • Craft Workshops
  • Exhibition of traditional objects
  • Concert and traditional dances
  • Traditional women crafts workshop (șezătoare)
