Event Description

A little surprise after the summer-end and the begging of schools and weekly routines!

eiro - Irish Romanian Cultural and Business Association, invites you to spend a pleasant Saturday in the company of friends during a

Day Trip to a Stunning Region: Wicklow Mountains!

We will visit the amazing Powerscourt Waterfall and then travel through the Monastic City of Glendalough and walk around the breathtaking Glendalough lake.

The trip is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th, 2016. The coach will depart from University of Limerick at 8:30am returning at around 8:30pm.

The price is €25 per person and it includes transport and a hot lunch in a local pub. The entrance at Powerscourt Waterfall is not included in the fee and it will cost €5.50 for an adult or €3 for a child under the age of 16.

As the number of seats are limited, you can reserve a seat for a €10 booking fee before 10th of September while the balance needs to be paid before departure.

PS: As plan B, only if the weather is not favourable for nature walks the day trip will still go ahead and we will instead visit the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin and the Newgrange Stone Age Passage Tomb, in County Meath which is older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.
